Simple Yet Effective Love Spells

There is a belief that magic could possibly have a great impact on the different events that one may experience, by means of magic, wherein a particular kind of supernatural force is made use of. The question that now arises is the relation of magic to what people consider to be as spells for love, which is widely used in order to bridge the gap between two different individuals.

Magic may be perceived as a particular kind of practice wherein it is able to incorporate ceremonies as well as different kinds of practices being done during the ancient times. It is also believed that using the so-called divine energy of a person may be a means in order to make magic work, as this energy is considered to be very powerful.

When a certain practitioner wants to deal something relating to the love life of another person, then this practitioner would need to make use of a love spell that may be seen as a simple one, but in a different kind of perspective, may be seen as effective.

By making use of different kinds of love spell, someone would now be able to solve the problem that his or her relationship may have, apart from this, you may also have the means to patch up on the relationship that you may have once had.

Love spells also pave the way in order to make love even closer, to the point that it is able to enhance their love, in such a way that they are able to deepen their relationship and in turn become stronger.

However, one should always take into consideration the intent, with regard to what you actually want to happen. This intent would allow a person to ascertain as to what the possible outcome of the spell may be.

If you are actually thinking about the effectiveness of the spell, then the answer would be based upon you. One should always bear in mind that the consequences or possible outcome that one may get out of the love spell made, is dependent on what the actual intention was, and the belief of the person who made the love spell possible.

With regard to this, it is of utmost importance to make certain that you would be able to focus all of your energy, as well as concentrate on your intent, so that the practice of doing the love spell would become effective.

Apart from having focused intentions, one should also be able to get a clear understanding about what is going to take place, and at the same time, the significance of what is to be done, together with the frequencies that should be monitored.

These factors should not be taken for granted or anything to that extent as these factors are definitely essentials in order to make everything work the way that you want it to work. In this regard, you should also think about your own belief, what is going to be done, and its impact. That is why, it would always be best that one gets to comprehend the real essence of the tradition since this may only make the spell ineffective.

The spell may possibly become ineffective if for instance the belief of the person has already weakened, and if for instance the person is not truly familiar with the process.

How To Get Good Singing Tone

A common pursuit amongst singers is the the quest for good head and chest voice/tone resonance. Although we have discussed to some extent about head/chest resonance in previous articles, there will still be a lot of confusion on this subject such as balancing tonal brilliance and depth of the resonance.

Blending these two voice qualities or vocal colors is a major source of confusion and frustration for many aspiring singers. However, once you understand how the voice work, blending the vocal colors should become easy and automatic as speaking expressively.

In fact, once you are able to blend the tones, you will begin to sing with more emotion and passion because you will know how to create the tones that will draw out the feelings and the emotions of the songs that you are singing. Some people call it singing with feel.

It is well established that the head resonance, when properly supported, has a brilliant ringing tone quality as compared to the chest resonance singing tone. This bright voice tone is developed in the bones and cavities above and, behind and around the nose known as the mask.

The result from an unsupported head resonance is very different and is characterized by a false falsetto tone. This oddity occurs when a singer suddenly switches into a choir boy tone.

The resonators have a lot to do with what your voice sounds like. This is why you can listen to many singers with high voices and yet each of them will have a differently blend of sound and tonal quality.

Now try this experiment to feel the resonating system of the head. Gently tap your finger on the bone between the upper lip and the nose. Can you hear the gentle thud it made? Now tap the bridge of your nose and then your forehead just below your hairline and again listen to the thuds again.

Did you notice that the thuds were higher in pitch as you ascend from the lip to the forehead? By performing this experiment, you will know that certain bones are predisposed to amplify various pitch levels.

When singers refer to chest resonance, they are actually talking about vocal tone which is characterized by darker vowel qualities or mellowness. However the term is a misnomer. By dictionary definition, an effective resonating chamber is a hollow place surrounded by hard surfaces. However, the chest is too full of organs to be suitable for amplifying the singing tone.

Throat and chest resonance occur where there is plenty of empty space for amplification of the lower vibrations created by the vocal cords in the mouth and throat. Contrary to popular thinking, most so-called “chest resonance” actually comes from the throat. However, there is also a distinct sensation of vibration in the chest when singing, especially in the sternum or breastbone area. This feel of tone gathering in the chest area can be used very effectively to stabilize high notes.

So in order to get good singing tone, then you must practice with the right vocal exercises to blend the head and chest tone.

Witchcraft And Magic Tricks

Magic is among the oldest of the performing arts and has probably existed nearly as long as civilization itself.  Originally, magic was performed by religious leaders as part of worship rites that showed the power of both a particular god and of the priest who served him.  Early magicians had to create each magic trick and the method of performing the trick themselves.  There wasn’t a local magic shop and the secrets were carefully guarded and passed on only to chosen apprentices.

Magicians were referred to as sorcerers or witches and the illusions they performed were not recognized as magic tricks.  Reginald Scott published a book called “The Discoverie of Witchcraft” in 1584, which provided an explanation of the way that many a magic trick was performed.  Sleight of hand wasn’t used only by sorcerers and witches; it was also employed by street thieves who would use misdirection as part of their strategy to steal purses.

In the 1700s, Jacob Philadelphia and John Eugene Robert-Houdin brought magic into the theater.  Houdin designed and built each complex magic trick himself.  There was no magic shop from which to purchase illusions.  Each magic trick was created by the individual magician.  In the 1800s magic became a popular entertainment and magicians appeared in theaters and traveling shows.  People who specialized in creating illusions for these magicians began to make an appearance and the first magic shops were born.

Inevitably, more and more people learned the way in which a magic trick was performed.  The great magician, Harry Houdini, while protecting the secrets of his own illusions, exposed the tricks used by mediums to fool their customers.  Séances were also popular during the 1800s and most of the so-called mediums or spiritualists used standard magic tricks to fool their customers.  As a magician, Houdini knew how the tricks worked and exposed them in order to debunk the mediums.

Magic continued to be popular during the 20th century.  Most early variety shows on television would include a magic act.  The wide exposure of this medium created more of a demand for new illusions.  It also created a demand among non-professional magicians.  The magic shop became fairly commonplace and many amateur magicians would buy tricks to wow their friends and family.  Children were often among the best customers at magic shops.

Magic remains a popular form of entertainment, both in live shows and on television.  As the public has become savvier about the way magic work, newer magic tricks have become more and more sophisticated.  Many magicians still design their own illusions and protect their secrets closely.  Some others, like Penn and Teller, have become noted for exposing the way that certain magic tricks are performed.

It’s possible for most people to purchase standard illusions at a magic shop.  There are any number of books available that describe how popular illusions are performed.  The disappearing woman, the rabbit from a hat and most card tricks are popular illusions that can be learned by most amateurs.  If you want to learn how to do a magic trick, visit a magic shop or buy one of the many books on magic and illusions.

The Secrets That Negotiator Won’t Tell You – Part 1

Remember the time when the movie “ The Negotiator” came blasting onto the big screen? You bet, it co-starred two of my all-time favourite movie heroes – Kevin Spacey & Samuel L. Jackson. Their riveting acting was memorable, exciting and most of all, thrilling. I thought that was the best movie on the subject of negotiating ever filmed by any screen director. Grab your popcorn, sip your Coke, sit tight and watch it  ……it’s not just about the action, it’s about people solving a common problem using powerful negotiation!

How do you know that you have started to negotiate with someone? What are the evidence to suggest that you are negotiating? Is it the long wide table, the high chair of the opposite parties, the agreement forms lying on the edge of the table, the bright lights, the heavy smokes, the daunting clock, the suits, or the Chinese Poker face?

Well, it’s nothing like you see in the movie really.

The real negotiating process starts when you have thought about exchanging your unsatisfied needs with someone whom you believe have control over what you want.  Like a product that you desire, a service that you require to help you get to your objectives, or other vital information that will change your outcome. Whatever you want, if you don’t have it, you need to negotiate.

So, you ask, how do I get what I want?

A little secret …….do you have what they need? If you don’t, you have nothing to exchange.

Many a times, when you want to sell some product and services to customers, you assume that you have what they need. How do you know? Did you ask them? Did they voluntarily tell you that?  You wonder why they turn your questions upside down like an overnight laundry as though there are dirts all over it. You have told them everything about your product in details, and yet, nothing really excites their face.

Simple. That’s nothing he wants from you. So, the customer now thinks, “ You can say anything, but you have no control over my feelings for your products and services. “

Effective negotiators don’t assume and shoot blankly.  They check by asking the right questions to understand what the other party might want. They sincerely ask what THEY CAN DO to give what the other side desires. They are INTERESTED to help. Their outcome is to HELP, not to assume and second-guess.

Now, the negotiator is ready to listen to you and tell you what he wants. That’s how you can negotiate with him.

Curious to find out more about how to negotiate like a pro and increase your personal influence with others for a powerful win-win using 1 simple technique?

ACTION STEP

I start to develop a good habit of asking the right question of finding the negotiator’s unsatisfied needs. I stop assuming that he must want what I have. Instead, the better strategy is to ask him what he needs and get him to be interested in asking for what he wants.

See you soon in my next Power Tip #3 on the secrets that negotiators won’t tell you- part 2! Good luck and this is TK, remember, happy negotiating!

Awesome Magic Trick Simply Using Cards

Here is a super cool and simple magic card trick to amaze your friends and family.

You will need 1 deck of regular playing cards. Show your audience the stack and shuffle them well.

Now count out the first 26 pieces, turning them over face up as your count them out into a pile. Pay close attention to the 18th card as you are flipping them over and placing in a heap.

Once you have gone through all 26 stop and take those and turn them face down and put them at the bottom of the stack.

Now you are going to count out 4 rows of 10 cards. You will turn over the first one in the deck and whatever number is on that face you will start counting to 10 from there. So for example if it is an eight you lay that one down and say 8 and then another card on top of it going downward like laying them out in solitaire. The next one is 9 and then 10. Now start the next row with another card. If that one is a two, begin by saying 2, then the next piece is 3, the next 4 and so on until you get to 10. No matter what amount is on the face you are just counting to ten from the first number in each row you start. If one of them begins with a ten, jack, queen, or king you will count that as a ten so just say that amount and start the next row until you get all 4 lines completed.

Now take the top card in each row and pull them upward away from the lines and add up the total of those four. Again if one of them is the number two, a jack, queen or king it counts as ten. Now after adding the sum of those four pieces. Take the total, such as fourteen and tell your audience you will find the suit from your 18th card above when you get to that number. Count out that many cards from the remaining deck you have in your hand and that last numeral should be the lucky piece you glanced at from the beginning. Remember I told you to pay attention to the 18th item.

Practice this simple magic card trick before performing for family or friends to make sure you have it perfect.

Drafting History: the Magic of Drafting and Design

By Olen Parker

Regardless of all the statements and talk about what is the oldest profession in the world, drafting is the only profession that historically can be documented.

Drafting can be defined as a descriptive way to deliver an idea through the use of illustrations and drawings that show in detail the process of turning the idea into reality. This process dates back to thousands of years ago when primitive drafters illustrated on the walls of caves the processes by which they lived, hunted, worshipped, and died.

Since that time, this process has changed little except for the drafting supplies and tools used to draw, paint, and preserve the illustrations. The greatest changes are noted during the Egyptian and Chinese Empires and the development of rice paper and the methods of presenting ideas. This was the beginning of drafting as we know it today. Other than the drafting tools and equipment used to make drawings more accurate and legible, very little changed until the creation of the modern electronic devices that we have used over the last 75 years. Drafting is the basis of everything that is usable.

Mathematics and science are the foundations from which drafters work. There is nothing manufactured or process carried out without the aid of drafting. Everything that a person can hold in their hand, feel, or touch has some type of drawing or illustration created for the production of that product. When most people think of drafting, they think of skyscrapers, beautiful homes, or maybe a complicated electronic device such as a computer.

There are almost 100 different work disciplines for drafters and designers. These include aerospace, highways, parks and recreation, electronic, nano-technology, medical, furniture, high-voltage electricity, automotive, and many more.

Think about all the equipment and gadgets used in hospitals. Consider all the tools that are used during surgery. Knee implants that are specifically designed to fit your body, or something as simple as a band-aid; are all manufactured by the aid of a drawing. Engineers, architects, scientists, doctors, physicists, and even composers used drafting to create these products.

All of the world’s greatest inventions, thoughts, and improvements started as drawings. The drafter is that invisible person, who in reality, makes dreams come true. Contact the American Design and Drafting Association (ADDA) www.adda.org 731-627-0802 for additional information on how to become a drafter or to join the organization.

Letter Writing: Write Formal & Informal Letters & Notes

HOW TO WRITE A LETTER: WRITING PERSONAL & OFFICIAL LETERS & NOTES FOR ALL OCCASIONS

(Based on author’s site www.geocities.com/ltrhw)

Writing letters make popular. Letter writing ability is easily acquirable. Knowing how to write letters for all occasions is useful. Writing letters is not difficult. It is easy to learn how to write letters. This is on how to write formal letters, social letters, notes, what to say in private letter writing -writing personal letters.

Writing letters communicate best. Letter writing is joy to loved ones apart. Telephone calls are never enough. They like also to receive, write letters. Personal letters can be re-read. People in love write letters. Writing letters is dreamy. Boys who write letters are popular. Girls love receiving letters. Writing letters get one remembered when not together or telephoning. One writing letters can take one’s time to think of all the things that one can not remember when together or telephoning to say. In business writing letters clarify. Personal letters are keepsakes. Some things are said easier by writing letters, some better by not writing letters but notes. Writing letters are pleasing, effective. Notes can be nice. Here is how to write a letter, personal letters.

Letter writing, whether by post, fax, or e-mail falls into three categories. In each letter writing category the approach is different. How to write a letter depends on why one is writing a letter.

… Personal letters are often letters to family members, boyfriends or girlfriends, friends or pen friends -often friendly letters.

… Semiformal letters are often routine letters to e.g., order or return goods, instruct on delivery, or to confirm or request information -acquaintances also sometimes write letters semi-formally.

… Formal letters are often non-routine. Writing a letter formally implies officialdom -most seldom write letters formally.

Letter writing scares many people. Many don’t know how to write a letter or note. The following all there is to writing letters.

>>> Writing Personal Letters

To write letters to loved ones, friends away please. They like news about you, personal letters –especially if you write letters interestingly. Write letters cheerfully. Write a letter to cheer up. When you write a letter appreciate, praise, credit them. Write letters as if who you are writing a letter to is there, you are talking: “Oh, this tea’s cold! Anyway, I decided to write a letter…”

In writing personal letters, how intimately you write a letter depends on what is acceptable to who you are writing the letter. Unless you know it’s all right, don’t e-mail, fax or post loved ones or friends personal letters at a workplace; it may embarrass, cause problems if others see your letter. Privately communicate letters.

Letter writing is easiest when one is writing personal letters. If you can’t think of much to write in your letter other than “Hi!” or “I’m well…” and “How are you?” (which always pleases), don’t postpone writing your letter. A glance at a newspaper will show interesting things to write in your letter. When you write a letter do gossip -it’s liked in personal letters. Remember this when writing personal letters. Be interesting when you to write a letter.

In letter writing it matters: include a joke or two in personal letters. Loving or funny verses please in personal letters. When you write a letter remember: in personal letters a picture of you delights. In writing letters, if appropriate, drawing a flower, heart, kiss makes personal letters loved. Write letters that ask opinions of persons you write personal letters to, even if it’s only “Good, huh?” or “Nice, don’t you think?” Such letter writing makes you interesting, popular with those you write personal letters to.

>>> Writing Semiformal Letters and Formal Letters

In writing a letter keep to the point. Letters in these categories are often short letters about personal dealings with businesses, e.g., to instruct a bank to make or cancel a regular payment, or query a return, refund, or a job. They may be long, detailed letters but still simple, easy to write letters. When you write a letter keep a copy.

>> Letters received can be, e.g., asking you to confirm something.

When writing a letter replying to such letters write your contact details at the top right corner of the letter, their address at the top left corner of the letter; add the date, and their letter’s reference.

In your letter address them as they have you. Begin the letter by stating their letter’s date, e.g., “Thank you for your letter of ….”

Continue the letter, in a new paragraph. Be brief, simple, e.g., “This is to confirm that …” End your letter as ended their letter.

>> Letters sent to businesses to complain, request information, apply.

In writing a letter to a business, address, date your letter, state their reference as above. If you know the name of the person you are writing a letter to, begin “Dear Mr./Mrs./Miss./Ms. …” If not, in your letter address the reader as “Dear Sir/Madam” or “Dear Sirs.” Ensure to state under it their order/invoice number. Keep your letter simple. When writing business letters, if began ‘Dear Mr. …’, end “Yours sincerely”; if ‘Dear Sir’, “Yours faithfully.”

> Letters of complaint are important. Before writing a letter of complaint, if annoyed, cool off -make tea, telephone friends. You are writing a letter to get a desired response -you are less likely to if you write an angry letter. Businesses in writing letters like to appear fair -business letters try, when you write a letter politely.

When you write letters of complaint say what is wanted clearly, simply, e.g., “I have not yet received a refund for … I enclose a copy of the returns-note/receipt. I look forward to hearing from you.” Add any enclosures to the letter of complaint. Keep copies.

> Letters requesting information can be personal letters but must be clear. Write a letter simply ask for the information want. In writing letters requesting information on subjects you don’t know much about, it helps to end your letter “… and any other details you may deem useful’. Writing letters so brings more information.

> Letters of application for a job or a grant should have wider margins for reader-notes, and bear in mind any closing dates. When you write a letter of application briefly emphasize how you meet the criteria. Say ‘available for interview’, and do print your name.

>> Letters to officials may need to be long, detailed; but writing letters that are so is easy. You may have to write letters arguing with business or official letters received; or to explain, detail, enclose documents; or write a letter to summon a politician’s aid.

Writing letters that are official does not require high literacy. Not high literacy but method involves writing letters that are official.

When you write a letter to deal with letters requesting specific details and documents, in your letter simply respond in the order they are listed. Where business letters or other official letters request details generally, or if you are initiating correspondence by a writing a letter, first draft your letter -it helps in writing a letter.

Letters are easily, best drafted thus: For your letter’s rough copy use lined paper. Draft your letter in pencil, leaving every other line blank. Jot down and number the points you will raise in the letter. Then stop working on your letter.

Take a break from writing your letter; do something unrelated to writing a letter. You want to write a letter to make those points. Let your mind ‘digest’ the points you will raise in your letter.

Later look at your letter again, put other points that occur to you on the blank lines. Re-number the points of your letter as you think logical. But don’t hurry up to write a letter, yet. Sleep on it.

Then look at the draft letter, amend as necessary, write your letter.

Begin your letter by stating clearly what you want. End the letter briefly, simply, clearly repeating what you want.

When letter writing ends, enclose copies of any documents in the order of your letter’s points -number, list them if they are many.

How to write a letter that is complicated is that easy and simple -that makes seemingly difficult to write letters easy to write letters.

>>> Writing Personal Notes

Unlike writing letters, notes are informal -sometimes important.

> Routine notes may not be important: “Your dinner’s in the oven,” or to the milkman: “Two bottles today, please.”

>> Social etiquette notes that are expected may be important. Many do not write letters to socially invite or let another know that one will attend a party, or to thank another. Instead of writing letters they write social notes -to acquaintances, or strangers. As in letter writing, notes cause impressions to be formed about one.

These brief notes have the same tone as when writing letters informally, but must be courteous and polite. In inviting someone, one example is: “Hi, Nancy.. I’m having my birthday party, on ….., and it’d be so nice if you too could come. Love, Jenny.” Another example is: “Dear Mr. & Mrs. … we are having a house-warming party on ….. and we would love to have you too. Yours, Jo & Joe.” In accepting an invitation one example is: “How nice! See you then! Jenny.” Another example is: “So kind of you to invite us too -we will both be delighted to attend. Yours, Eric.” If you are courteous, polite, recipients will mention you favourably when they write letters, will speak well of you in your social circles.

>> Sympathy notes must be written carefully. These are e.g., get-well notes, sometimes on cards; or, to express condolences to someone who is in mourning -when most do not write a letter but a note.

> A get well note or card, whether to a close relative away and you also write a letter, or on its own, is always more appreciated if one adds a personal touch to it. For example, if to a friend and it is not serious, “Don’t take your time about getting well -we haven’t finished our chess game yet…”; if to a friend, and it is serious, “I’ll pray for your speedy recovery.” An example, if it is to someone you hardly know and are sending it as the done-thing in your social or business circles, is: “I will look forward to hearing of your recovery from mutual friends and colleagues.”

>In bereavement cases never try to cheer up in a sympathy note with a joke; however well meant, in one’s grief it may be deemed unfeeling, inappropriate!.. Leave the comforting to the mourner’s loved ones from whom more than a sympathy note is considered appropriate! Be, or appear, sincerely saddened by the loss. Clearly state so: “I am saddened by the news of …’s death.” Say: “I am so sorry to hear of your loss.” Show so by emphasizing it, e.g., “… he/she will be greatly missed.” Unless a loved one writing a letter too, if you don’t attempt to comfort, it will be appreciated.

>> Notes to loved ones matter most. On an anniversary or birthday greeting never be satisfied with what’s on the greeting card. Even if to a loved one away and accompanied by a loving letter, always personalize the card with a few words of your own, e.g., “Miss you!” or “Love you!” or “Take care.”

The feelings of parents are -from a poem by the Cypriot thinker writer poet teacher the late Orhan Seyfi Ari:

“With us he was, in our nest, only yesterday…

How quickly has he grown wings, like a bird, flown away!”

As in personal letters, it shows that you are not greeting as the done thing -that you care.

Anyone can write a letter. Family/friends away appreciate letters.

Internet Marketing Terms Defined

PPC: Pay per click marketing is a method by which you pay for clicks. I know that sounds simple, but if you’ve never done it then it can be daunting to figure out. Anyone can setup a pay per click campaign to market their products. The major search engines and social networking sites all provide a way to implement a pay per click campaign on their sites. When creating pay per click campaigns use caution. Make sure you set your budget at a reasonable level. You can choose a daily budget for your campaign. Understand that clicks have a different price depending on what keywords you are targeting. Some keywords will cost you 0.25 per click where others will cost $25.00 per click. Next time you are on Google, Yahoo, or Bing. Take a look at the sponsored ads sections. Then tend to be at the very top of the page and along the right hand column. The top spots are worth more and ads are shown based on what keywords you have just searched for. The much more to say about this, but this is enough to give you an idea.

CPA: Cost per action campaigns are usually implemented by online advertising networks like Commission Junction or ClickBank. There are many networks that will execute CPA campaigns for you. So what is this? Cost per action campaigns allow you to pay when a desired action is completed. Suppose you want to sell your book online. You can create a website, submit the site to an advertising network and only pay the network when a book actually sells. These are usually more expensive per action then a click campaign, but you also only pay for actual sales or leads. So the other option for CPA campaigns is using them to generate leads. Let’s say you are a realtor who would like generate an interest list for a specific property using the internet. You can have a web development company create a lead generation site for you and pay only when a person actually fills out the interest form in reference to the property. Leads may cost you any where from $3.00 per lead up to $30 per lead. It really just depends on the product you are generating leads for. When using CPA marketing beware of fraud. CPAwatchdog.com is a company that helps to fight CPA fraud.

CPM: These are cost per impression campaigns. With this sort of advertising you can place your ad on a website and pay to have it shown a pre-determined amount of times. So let’s say you want to buy 100 impressions on a website. You would pay a fixed dollar amount to have your ad shown on that site 100 times. Usually sites that have this option will rotate your ad through the system with other ads so it won’t all be spent in the first 5 minutes that the ad is up on the site.

SEO: Search Engine optimization is not really a direct advertising technique. It actually is more of a long term solution to getting your site to consistently show up in the search engines. The reality is that internet users spend less then 5% of their time on search engines so SEO is important, but will only get you so far. SEO is really about making sure that you site content is relevant to what you expect you customers will be searching for. In addition to achieve higher rankings in the search engine you want to make sure you have back links to your site. A back link is when another site links to your site. This adds to your ranking score because the more others link to you, the more likely it is that you have content that others truly value. Technically it is free to optimize you site if you have the skills to do so. If not it is possible to hire companies like 4squared media to optimize your site for you. When hiring a company to perform SEO service for you be sure that they are providing reports for you. These reports will be the proof to show that the SEO techniques implemented by said company are actually working.

In summary there are many ways to advertise you site online. Ideally you want to implement a variety of online advertising techniques to drive traffic to your website. As you drive traffic to your site make sure that you are tracking the effectiveness of the advertising and eliminate or refine those that are not performing as expected.

How To Get A Guy To Notice You : 9 Powerful Steps To Make Him Notice You Back!

How to Get a Guy to notice you? How to make a guy like you? These are the typical questions for most of the girls who are looking for steady relationship. Actually, guys are not complicated creatures. In general, we know what we want and a select few know how to get it. If you are a lady and you want to be noticed by a guy, then there are certain things you should do.

In this article, I will discuss how to get a guy to notice you in simple and powerful steps even you do not know that guy before. These steps are for those who have noticed a guy and want him to notice her back (getting him to fall in love to you is a whole other story). Luckily, getting a guy to notice you is easier because it involves the use of basic social skills. You should be honest, direct, pleasant, and reasonable.

Here are the ways:

I. If you don’t know the guy

1. Smile and make eye contact

Whether it is closed-mouth or open-mouth, just do it. Unless it really makes you feel artificial, learn how to shoot people a reassuring smile, letting them know that you’re a happy and confident person who wants to enjoy life. The idea is to communicate that you’re inviting their company

2. Establish communication

Just say “hi” or “hello” is the simplest way to get him noticed you. Some girls would get the guys phone or cell phone number just to talk to guys. Some of the guys would not like having the girls to have this kind of first move.

Talk to him to try to get to know him a little by discussing things you have in common. A good way to start a conversation is to ask him a question. Listen to him and don’t interrupt him when he is talking. You could even compliment him or ask for help.

3. Make friends with him

Be with the flow. Making friends with him is one sure way of establishing a relationship. It is good that you make friends with him at first to get you notice. A serious relationship often starts in friendship. Who knows what will happen in the end. By doing this you will know each other more often.

4. Get to know him better

Find what he likes in a girl. Go with what he likes. Know his lifestyle or activities from day to day. If the guy goes jogging everyday in a particular time then go and jog with him. Then talk to him in a friendly manner and don’t let him notice that you like him or you’re doing this for him.

II. If you happen to know or you are already a friend with the guy

1. Make a connection with him by knowing what you do and like both.

Having same hobbies or activities will help you be noticed. Joining the same club or working together is one key to be able to get to know more about him.

2. Dress well to catch an attention

Get a new look. Don’t change who you are, just try something different. Try a new hairstyle, new clothes, etc. It’s a good idea to change things up once in a while, just because variety’s the spice of life, and it might help you catch his eye. Try being that tough girl who is different from all the other okay looking girls giving him the eyes, because beauty is common, but a good outlook and a great energy are very rare.

3. Flirt with him.

Do it as little or as much as you want, but remember that too much flirting (especially with other guys) will likely get him to take notice, but perhaps not in a good way. If he reacts and you don’t think it’s real (he’s just doing it because you’re there and you’re a girl and he thinks he can do better, let him know he can’t). If he is faking it, call his bluff and say something that makes him know you don’t think he is ‘all that’. For example, if he comes close, pull a face and offer him gum. This will unbalance his ego.

4. Try to be around him often.

Take interest in the activities he’s interested in, not just so that you can get near him but also so that you can get to know him better and so you can broaden your own horizons. (But never pretend to love something you don’t even like just because he likes it! Although most guys find this cute, when and if they ever find out, it can be painful for you, and usually unnecessary.)

5. Be Yourself

Just be your own self and remember some first impression do seem to last. Most of the girls find their selves acting awkwardly when facing or meeting with the one they like. Being with yourself let the guy knows who you really are. Don’t overdo anything. Pretending to be like someone you are not, just to impress this guy is not good.

Finally, you can’t get everyone to notice you. Remember that guys come and go, so do not stress yourself if things do not work out in your favor. You are a normal, complete person all on your own, and you don’t need a guy’s attention to be happy.

But remember, being too obsessive can do the opposite of what you want to achieve, pushing him farther away. If he just won’t become attracted to you, leave it alone. Do not push it, or things might get ugly, and you’ll earn a bad reputation. Good luck, girls!

The Magic Skirt

There was once a lady, sober in mind and sedate in manner, whose plain dress exactly represented her desire to be inconspicuous, to do good, to improve every day of her life in actions that should benefit her kind. She was a serious person, and she had a distaste for the gay society which was mainly a flutter of ribbons and talk and pretty faces; and when she meditated, as she did in her spare moments, her heart was sore over the frivolity of life and the emptiness of fashion. She longed to make the world better, and without any priggishness she set it an example of simplicity and sobriety, of cheerful acquiescence in plainness and inconspicuousness.

One day–it was in the autumn–this lady had occasion to buy a ? new skirt . From a great number offered to her she selected a bright colored one with floral prints. It did not match with the rest of her apparel; it did not fit her apparent character.? What impulse led to this selection she could not explain. She was not tired of being good, but something in the texture of the skirt and the color pleased her. If it were a temptation, she did not intend to yield to it, but she thought she would take the skirt home and try it. Perhaps her nature felt the need of a little warmth. The skirt pleased her still more when she got it home and put it on and surveyed herself in the mirror. Indeed, there was a new expression in her face that corresponded to the skirt. She looked at it. There was something almost humanly winning and temptatious in it. In short, she kept it, and when she wore it abroad she was not conscious of its incongruity to herself, but of the incongruity of the rest of her apparel to the skirt, which seemed to have a sort of intelligence of its own, at least a power of changing and conforming things to itself. By degrees one article after another in the lady’s wardrobe was laid aside, and another substituted for it that answered to the demanding spirit of the skirt. In a little while this plain lady was not plain any more, but most gorgeously dressed, and possessed with the desire to be in the height of the fashion.

But this was not all. Her disposition, her ideas, her whole life, was changed. She did not any more think of going about doing good, but of amusing herself. She read nothing but stories in paper covers. In place of being sedate and sober-minded, she was frivolous to excess; she spent most of her time with women who liked to “frivol.” She kept Lent in the most expensive way, so as to make the impression upon everybody that she was better than the extremest kind of Lent. From liking the sedatest company she passed to liking the gayest society and the most fashionable method of getting rid of her time. Nothing whatever had happened to her, and she is now an ornament to society.

This story is not an invention; it is a leaf out of life. If this lady that autumn day had bought a plain skirt she would have continued on in her humble, sensible way of living. Clearly it was the skirt that made the woman, and not the woman the skirt. She had no preconception of it; it simply happened to her, like any accident–as if she had fallen and sprained her ankle. Some people may say that she had in her a concealed propensity for frivolity; but the skirt cannot escape the moral responsibility of calling it out if it really existed. The power of things to change and create character is well attested. ?

Men live up to or live down to their clothes, which have a great moral influence on manner, and even on conduct. There was a man run down almost to vagabondage, owing to his increasingly shabby clothing, and he was only saved from becoming a moral and physical wreck by a remnant of good-breeding in him that kept his worn boots well polished. In time his boots brought up the rest of his apparel and set him on his feet again. Then there is the well-known example of the honest clerk on a small salary who was ruined by the gift of a repeating watch–an expensive timepiece that required at least ten thousand a year to sustain it: he is now in Canada.

Sometimes the influence of Things is good and sometimes it is bad. We need a philosophy that shall tell us why it is one or the other, and fix the responsibility where it belongs. It does no good, as people always find out by reflex action, to kick an inanimate thing that has offended, to smash a perverse watch with a hammer, to break a rocking-chair that has a habit of tipping over backward. If Things are not actually malicious, they seem to have a power of revenging themselves. We ought to try to understand them better, and to be more aware of what they can do to us. If the lady who bought the skirt could have known the hidden nature of it, could have had a vision of herself as she was transformed by it, she would as soon have taken a viper into her bosom as have tied the skirt around her waist. Her whole previous life, her feeling of the moment, show that it was not vanity that changed her, but the inconsiderate association with a Thing that happened to strike her fancy, and which seemed innocent. But no Thing is really powerless for good or evil.
